Easier to use than the older-style nail boards to take care of your hands. These files do not rip your skin or cuticles or cut any skin they come into contact with. They just gently sand away any rough edges on nails.

The extra-thick foam ensures that the file bends around your nails or skin. Less flexible files like emery boards may potentially damage your fingernail edge or your cuticles.

The file can be used for fingernails in a variety of conditions, from nails that need a quick touch-up to ones that are in need of some serious attention!

To use on rough claws, move the glass tool back and forth over the area repeatedly. This action rounds off any jagged edges or uneven spots. To buff nails that are already in fairly good condition, simply move the file over the surface to quickly sand down any bumps.

Good to know: The foam file should be sanitized after use. To sanitize, brush off any visible detritus from the board, then soak in alcohol (isopropyl alcohol with at least 70% of the solution as alcohol or ethyl alcohol) for 5-10 minutes. Once the board has been removed from the alcohol, allow it to air dry before being used again. Ensure that the file is fully dry before use. If you use the board when it is still damp, it may be less effective on nails.
